RotcanX
The link doesn't work anymore. Even if you search for 'push tone' on the Gibson site it leads to a 404. Anybody remember the Ampeg Dan Armstrong? It only had one pickup but it was set up with banana sockets and held in to the guitar from behind with a thumb screw and there was a ramp cut into the acrylic body so you could easily slide it out and change it. Apparently there were seven different pickups to choose from. I took a DiMarzio Super II pickup and built a little wooden box for it that was the same size as the DA pickup and it fit right in. Then I made another nicer one for a buddy of mine with a DiMarzio PAF in it.
