marcbc Posted April 26, 2008 Share Posted April 26, 2008 Hey guys i have an epiphone sheraton and im starting to mix things up. i installed a bigsby and am thinking about putting some pickups in it. what are the best and how do you install pickups without a thing to open te back to reavel the wires?? jcwillow777 Posted April 26, 2008 Share Posted April 26, 2008 There are lots of possiblities of pickups, it all depends on what you want. I put a set of GFS Vintage 59s in mine, Gibson '57 Classic clones. They are considerably cheaper at about $40 each and they sound pretty good to me. In order to put new pickups in you will need ot fish the wires out the F-hole. My Sherry had some connectors, so yours might as well and you could splice the pickups in to the connectors. I opted to put new pots, switch and jack in when I did mine. It's not difficult, but it does take some patience. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
