pchilson Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 Hey, I just picked up a LP studio that the original owner pulled the pickguard, truss rod cover and the pickup switch ring from and he could not find them. I can make you new ones to fit perfectly. *I have a studio lp myself so.. no problem* pickup switch ring I'll have to order. by the way, I tried a multi ply guard on the lp studio and didn't like it.. It might be ok if you don't have the sunburst.. but on the sunburst the extra white lines just clashed. I've got an order going in so.. if you pm me this morning or early afternoon, I can make sure I get you your switch ring. the guard will be dead stock looking.. just like original, and tr cover, too. switch ring will be printed on just like original and good quality as well. cheap, too! [/quote'] Hey Twang, Sorry, was out all day yesterday. Didn't see your post till last night. The kid found the pickguard and bracket but said he broke the switch ring and probably threw out the truss rod cover. I find the switch rings online and the bell shape truss rod covers but no cover with the script Studio on it. That is what I would like to have, the original part. I will see what Gibson can do for me come the work week. Thanks for your offer though. Anyone know where to find the truss rod covers with the "Studio" on them?
