Ricochet
i was just wondering where the knobs should be set. like at whst number etc..please help[-o< Just go by ear. Really. The pots being basicly resistors with different values and large tolerances plus all the different makes of pickups makes it impossible to advice on the ideal or perfect tone settings. Play around with the knobs, see/hear what you like.
joshyguitar93
i should have explained myself better. what i mean is, is say i took the knob off for cleaning etc. and i put it back on how should it be set back. like where should the 10 be facing. its very hard to explain i really do appologise
Ricochet
LOL...sorry I misunderstood! Ok, with the guitar strapped on, and the pots full on, you should be looking straight at the numbers 10. Hope this helps.
RotcanX
As you face the knobs with the guitar around your neck you want to see the '10' at about 7:30 on the dial with controls fully open..

Biff
You can see lots of funky knob and pointer angles on vintage Gibsons (and my own LP) .. Just put them where you like them.
