Hooligan
In order to get rid of the tuning troubles I have been having with my Epi Les Paul I decided to switch out the crummy stock tuners. Last week I ordered some Goto vintage tuners with chrome oval buttons. They are far superior than the stock tuners. The tuners I took off were actually wabbly, while the Goto's are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay tight. My only complaint if you can call it that is I prefered the longer stems of the stock tuners. These new ones are shorter to the extent that the buttons on the A and G string barely clear the head stock when you turn the buttons. Now all I have to do s far as performance is concerned is replace the plastic nut with the West African Hard Ivory nut I got from Bob Colosi. Outside that, I am hoping for some strap locks and possibly some chrome knobs from qparts for christmas, but thats just some bling and kinda low on the priority list......... Ricochet
Doesn't look to bad. My grover heads are pretty close to the headstock as well.
brad1
I love the Gotoh's on my Epi SG Jr. They seem to fit perfect. Made the guitar so much better. Mine are nickel.
