ken361 Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Hi i droped tuned my guitar a half step and I checked the intonation ,fretted the 12th and all and its very sharp its the low E string. On My other guitars I tried moving the saddles back and forth in the past and it didn't seem to do anything so Im wondering if the neck is out some. Its happening around the 11 and 12 area. thanks! TWANG Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 your saddles should have some effect no matter how you tune it. be careful with the little clips, if it has them, on each screw.. they're easy to bend and easier to lose! you can reverse the saddle so it moves toward the rear of the bridge more.. you may not get it spot on, but you should be able to get closer. tWANG Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
