Custom TRC

I want to have a TRC made for my GT that says Deluxe. Anyone know of someone that can do that? I tried Terrapin Guitars but he can only do it with a satin finish. I want a gloss finish to match the headstock.

Buy a blank gibson TRC and go to your local trophy ingraver and talk to him. Or you can buy rub on letters from Wally world and do it your self. I done that and it works well. Stan.

I didn't think you could get Gibson trc blanks. Stew-mac only sell the banjo bell shaped blanks.

But they are easy to make..I use the engraving plastic called "gravoply" (shiny black on white)

and have that engraved by the local engraver. Letra-Set letter transfers (available from some

stationery stores) can also be used but you have to overspray the transfered letters with a spray

fixative..or gloss varathane spray..in which case' date=' he could use the matte, transfer the letters and']

spray the trc to make it a gloss finish.

I bought a Gibson TRC from one of the box stores, i think MF. Before that i got a couple from Stew mac but they are differant from the Gibbys. Stan.

Thanks guys. I googled and found a couple of other places that makes custom pick guards, but no luck. I think what I'll do is just get a TRC from Terrapin Guitas for $8.00 and go to my fovorite trophy shop and see if he can engrave it for me.
