timandbob
Okay, I am new to the "world" of strap locks. I have an Epiphone Dot Deluxe and the leather strap I have will sometimes slip off the strap button on the butt of the guitar. So, which strap locks would you recommend? Thanks,

IntelligentAl
Dunlop make some good strap locks, but just about any will do.
Dennis G
I have Dunlop's on all of my solid body guitars. On my Dot however, I used "Groltsch's". I didn't want the extra protrusion of the strap lock on the neck, given the location of the strap button, so the washers work like a charm. TWANG
I've been using Dunlops for many years. There are others that are fine, too. One word of caution on the Q parts straplocks. the fancier designs can break.. for instance if you wear your guitar low, then the strap pushes against the fancy part.. and it can bend and then break. go for the solid round styles on that or you'll just end up with crap. The dunlop dual design does it for me.. it still funtions as a regular strap button or as a lock type. TWANG
