New control knobs

I've got a 2008 cherry Casino. I want to change the control knobs. I found some at www.guitarelectronics.com .

They are qpart dome chrome knob with red pearl top. They should go good with the new pickguard I made to match the body. Has anybody bought anything from this place? They say the knobs will fit both solid and split shaft with the adapter included.

Do the knobs you want fit coarse or fine knurled shafts ? If you're pots are stock, they should likely be coarse knurled - fine knurled knobs fit Gibby and won't really work on an Epi. I'd recheck and see what split shafts they fit .... if it says coarse knurled (or import), should be direct replacement. If it says USA shaft(fine knurled) the knobs won't fit unless your pots are (or have been changed) to USA/fine knurled shaft pots (like CTS or something...) Man, I hope I don't have this all backwards - I forget, but I believe the info provided you is correct.

Good luck.

Q parts knobs will fit any shaft.

They don't care if it's knurled or split or whatever.

they have a set screw, and the come big enough for usa, with a brass insert for metric.

So they'll fit anything and stay put.

I have them on my sheraton and I use them in builds all the time.

Guitar Electronics are good people. They're local to me and I go up there whenever I have the time and need electronic components. Also, they're the only decent place in town to get a good guitar setup. They did a couple of my Fender style guitars and both are simply amazing.

Twang, real nice. I like the dome knobs. I'm going to get the dome knobs with the red pearl top. I also made a new pickguard to go along with the knobs. I made the pickguard out of 3mm baltic birch plywood and stained it as close as I could to the cherry finish. I'm trying to figure out what I want to use to make the E for the pickguard. I'm thinking of cutting it out of aluminum, and polishing it.
