gks002
Ok Epiheads, I need your wisdom concerning my casino. Want to gut the wiring and pickups on my casino and need to know if there are any fit problems with new P-90's in the neck position? Read a little blurb on Lollars website about fit issue's with new pickup fitting properly in the neck position. Any one have any experiance? Also, has anyone seen a wiring schematic on the Casino anywhere? Are 500k pots the norm for P-90's
pohatu771
Most P-90s on the market have flat bottoms, for a Les Paul Junior-style guitar. A Casino requires a bottom contoured to match the guitar. There are some P-90s designed to be drop-in replacements for a Casino, but I don't know if Lollar makes any.

bluelake07
Kent Armstrong makes P-90 pickups specifically for the Casino and neck and bridge can be purchased individually. Twang likes them. 500K pots is the norm. Haven't seen a wiring diagram for Casino specifically, but except for the pickups it's the same as a Les Paul. http://www.guitarelectronics.com/product/WDUHH3T2202
bradduerr
Talk to Pete at Vintage Vibe Guitars, http://www.vintagevibeguitars.com. He has supplied P-90s for Casinos. Also, Lollar will rewind the Epi pickups to his specs. As a side note, I have tried the KA Casino pickups and did not notice that much difference with the stock Epis. The Vintage Vibe pickups made a very noticeable difference and produced a clearer and articulate sound. I have Vintage Vibe pickups in three guitars. They are not all that expensive, you get fast service, and if you talk to Pete, you get custom winding at no additional cost.
