57 goldtop ?

I do believe it's a Les Paul Standard in gold. I remember there was one for sale here a while back that I would totally have snapped up if I had the cash at the time. I seem to recall it is a different kind of gold to the gold finish used on the '56 GoldTop with P90s, and is in fact closer to the real thing on Gibsons.

Of course the Limited Edition stamp will come from it being a non standard colour for an LP Standard.

now I'm gassing for this, a LP custom black beauty 3, a '61 les paul (sg) custom RI, a '56 GT limited edition ebony finish, and a regular LP custom black beauty.

oh woe is me... and my bank account. Ebay, I loathe thee.

Do you want to buy my Les Paul Custom? Needs to be wired up though. And shipping would probably be a killer. But y'know! Haven't had a lot of interest here.

PM sent!

Yeah' date=' Epiphone made Standards that were goldtops in the late 90's (I think that was the timeframe, if I remember right they were Korean). There WAS an actual '57 replica, but it was an Elitist model. [/quote']

And it's a beauty! :D/

(I have one)

Cheers
