I made a mistake, too! I overestimated the clearance between the pup and guard and had to redo it the edge a bit. I do redos for free and offer to pay shipping, too. I don't mess up often. but now I now these are real close tolerances. If yours is a gibson there might be some differences. So a trace of it will solve that.
