hoss49
Hey me agian. Have anyone ever had the nut come lose on their LP. I have the finish breaking lose around the nut. I have a LP standard plus. Is the a problem with them? I hae one place in Wichita to get this fixed. Any help will be great. Thanks
gearhead
I've had a couple guitars with the nut loose. Just a small dab of superglue (gel) will hold it unless you bang it into something. If it's not sliding around I probably wouldn't mess with it.
lpplayer
no offense to your advice....but would super glue be the best idea? I have heard that simple elmers glue will work well, and still allow the nut to be more easily removed in the future if you want a replacement/upgrade...... gearhead
Sure elmer's should work. I used super, but never planned on changing the nut, which I never have.
mgrmatt
I use Titebond wood glue,I sure Elmer's would work fine. With the wood glue if you ever need to change the nut again all you have to do is run a utility knife on both sides and give it a gentle tap and it will come right out. mgm
