Replacing pots, switch and P90s in a Casino

If I replace the pots and switch in my 2007 MIC Casino, will I have to make the holes larger?

I want to replace the chrome P90s with black ones but I really do not want to spend over $150 for the pair.

What kind do you recommend?

Well if you put something like "CTS" pots and a Switchcraft switch, the holes will have to be enlarged.

(Correction: If installing full sized US pots, threads are different.)

Here's a video someone else posted on a different thread:

I would shop around for the pickups, see whats there for the money, then get some reviews on them.

Personally, I would replace the electronics first and see how that affects your tone. I really like the Epi P90's. I would not turn down a set of Lollar P90's, but who would!?!?! [confused]

I am thinking about having the electronics on my 1996 Peerless Casino swapped out and have seen some full kits that have quality parts for around $90.00. If I were going to do it myself, that is the route I would take. Fortunately I have access to a really good tech who will do it for a decent price and much less money than if I were to buy the $90.00 kit. I am planning on leaving the Stock P90's in as I really like the tone but hate the crappy scratchy pots and three way switch. I think the input jack is another part that is questionable on mine.
