carverman
Just ran across this and thought it might be useful: http://www.pickupedia.info/Main_Page Cheers' date=' Brian[/quote'] Nice find. The list of pickup builders can't be complete. Bob Benedetto has some nice jazz pickups....unless some else is making them for him..which is always possible as luthiers don't always wind their own. brianh
Yeah, it's missing GFS too, a fairly major boo boo. I thought it was a part of Wikipedia, but my username and password doesn't work, so it must be a seperate site. BTW, I'm reading Benedetto's Making an Archtop Guitar, and he doesn't mention anything about making pickups, and there's nothing in his shop that looks like a pickup winder. According to his site, they're made by Seymour Duncan: http://benedettopickups.com/home.htm
Hector Arcadius
I just went through rather quickly. It seems incomplete, in my inexperienced eyes at least. When / if it's fully updated, can be very useful though. Thanks for posting this man.
brianh
Since it's a Wiki, anyone should be able to join and add to it as needed. It does seem like a very good idea....
