Just busting his chops' date=' all in fun.[/b']

Hey, remember when Aimee Mann looked like this?

I knew that! I was joking too, although I must say, I wasn't joking about Red's avatar. Very "easy on the eyes"...

But to the pic you posted: Is that really the same person? She looks more like Wendy-O (the singer for the Plasmatics).

Ooops.

I knew they were coming ('cause I read it here), but I didn't know they were available yet. I thought I had a scoop!

Aimee's first band was the Young Snakes.

Brian, I might have told you this before, so forgive me if I did, but I had a friend who lived on Aimee's block when she went to Berklee School of Music in Boston (or maybe after; it was just before the release of th first 'Til Tuesday album). I vivdly remember him telling me how he would sometime wait on the sidewalk, so he could catch a glimpse of this cool girl who played in a band and had a mowhawk, coming in or out of her apartment.

Correct!

PS: I lived in Boston at that time too (Allston/Brighton actually)' date=' although I was already out of Berklee in '78 and not cool enough to hang with younger punk rockers in the early 80's. But yeah, Aimme was the Boston "it girl" during those years...[/quote']

And Robert, a friend of mine, was her guitar player (and then boyfirend, then ex-boyfreind/ex-guitar player!)

Small world. I think my brother was at Berklee in '78, or around that time. I'll have to ask him which years he attended.
