dcollver
ok so for my birthday i got a sg g-400, i love it its awesome. but the pick-ups are loose. both of them, they can wobble back and forth and sooner or later they will get loose i think, i dont want to mess anything up so i dont touch it but what do i do? see i dont know much about the guitar itself, just changing the strings is it. i can play well but dont know much guitars. what do i do? take it to my local music mart? alanssaab
hngd the pick ups will have a little bit of movement in them , nothing to worry about , so carry on and enjoy playing your sg
Sjael
How loose are the pickups? Due to their mounting system, humbuckers are able to tilt back and forth to what can be a surprising degree, but they should always return to being more-or-less parallel to the strings. If you need to push the pickups to make them move, there's most likely nothing wrong with your guitar. If, however, they are wobbling of their own accord, you might have a problem.
