Vic Flick
will a gibson switch tip be to big or to small for an epi lp?thanks in advance! Gibson uses SAE threads which are larger than metric threads. Most Epi LPs use switches with the smaller metric threads.

TP
If you can't find a metric switch tip, you can do what I did until I found one.... wrap some plummers tape (only a very small amount is needed) around the threads on the switch then screw the bigger Gibson replacement tip on it. It will hold for a long time. I had an old Gibson switch on my Casino until I got all the wiring and other knobs changed to the Black/Silver style. I had my tech install a proper metric black switch tip to match. He liked my plummers tape idea though!
