animalfarm
Was watching a 2008 Journey Concert DVD with the new singer Arnell Pineda. Saw Neal Schon playing his Les Paul, saw the Headstock, then thought: "HEY!!! The inlay is all WRONG!" Then I caught a glimpse of the back of his LP, had MULTIPLE control covers. This had me scratching my head, so I did a bit of research, learned something... Turns out that Gibson DID release a Neal Schon Signature LP at the 2005 NAMM show. News to me, how did I not hear about it? I noted he used the Neck pup quite a bit for leads, discovered he uses a "Fernandes Sustainer" Humbucker kit to get those long sustains. Have not located one of the Signature LPs for sale yet, just wanted to get an idea of current $$$$ value. (No WAY I'll be able to afford one!). Hungrycat
The Schon Les Paul was short lived. It's basically an LP Axcess with the sustainer, a different knob lay out, different inlays, binding, etc. The Axcess goes for $3499.99, plus the price of the sustainer.... That's about the closest you could get.

EpiEric
Her e is a good YouTube video of Neal talking about this guitar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP0o2T_dNFU&feature=player_embedded He says that 80 were made by the Custom Shop (I assume that is 80 for public sale not counting his personal guitars).
