Samuel232
Hey guys. I'm new to the forum. I'm buying an Epiphone G400 Ebony next week and I was wondering if there's an option of having a full pickguard as opposed to the half pickguard as I'm not really a fan of the half. I suppose it's not really an issue on the black model but still, is there an option of a full PG? Cheers, Sam.
midiman56
Yup ... buy it that way in the first place: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Epiphone-Limited-Edition-1966-G-400-Electric-Guitar-512593-i1371744.gc Jim
Samuel232
There's two problems with that; 1) The site that you linked me to is US only and I'm from the UK. 2) It say 'Limited Edition'. What if they're sold out?
mrjones200x
Get a faded cherry 1966 g400 reissue from coda music. There based in luton and stevenage near me and that epi model looks lush in person. Heres a link! http://www.coda-music.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_33_248&products_id=7758 http://images.guitarcenter.com/products/optionlarge/Epiphone/419612jpg.jpg
midiman56
I'd look around for that 1966 G400 in black, Samuel. WE have two of them in my store right now, so I don't think it is exactly a rare model. Unless it's a Guitar Center exclusive, which I don't believe it is, you might get lucky! Jim
Samuel232
I'll have a look around. Is £200 a good amount to pay for a G400? The LP Standardds in my local music store are around £350.
