SilverGhost
It was in the Gibson lineup at one point. I believe it had a swamp ash body and an ebony fretboard. I think it would be cool to have the Voodoo SG come back as part of the Epiphone G400 line up. It's a pretty distinct SG with it's different body and fretboard, so it wouldn't be just another G400 with a different color scheme. What do you guys think? I'd buy one if Epiphone came out with it. midiman56
Welcome to the forum, Appari! Here's what that guitar looked like for those of you that don't remember: Pretty bad-*** looking version of the SG, huh? Jim
SilverGhost
Yeah, that's the one. I love how that SG looks. The Gothic series from Gibson carried over to Epiphone. I'm hoping that someday the Voodoo SG makes the jump as well. Oh, and thanks for the welcome. :-

Xaj
Hi Appari, Welcome to the forum. As Jim mentioned, The Voodoo series were "badass" :- In fact the Voodoo were the follow up to the Gothic series, and in turn they were followed up by the Menace series. All of them were great guitars. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, only the Gothic series followed into Epiphone. They were also the more successful of all the series so it may account for that. Hungrycat
I saw a Voodoo Flying V on Craigslist about a week ago. I was sad I didn't have the $600 for it, but I'd rather the Voodoo Explorer anyways...
