heretic
This is my Epi SG-400. Gibson Classic '57s, Oil-filled tone caps and treble bleed mods and a proper Gotoh Tune-o-matic/Stop bar. Made the fake Maestro cover plate out of an aluminum clip board.
Legs
I played a gig at Gymnavita in Alabama. But me , Dr. IG and an unnamed Metal Drumer plated as "the Naked Kind of Guys" He threatened to sue if we used any association with the band. So I questioned if he was actually hung like a fly From the stage. If you got it, flaunt it! Legs Legs

animalfarm
never mind, knob question disappeared..... Cover plate is quite creative, how'd you pull off the engraving?
heretic
animalfarm, I looked at photos of real Maestros. Cut the clipboard up. Bent the edges, and made the two pieces that mount to the top out of scrap 1/4" thick aluminum shape with a hand file. No power tools. Made a drawing of the harp. Went to a trophy shop that has a CNC engraver. Cost me $19.00. The clipboard was free. Then I spent $7.00 for some mag wheel polish and applied a lot of elbow grease. Not perfect, but it's crude enough to pass as worn vintage. Bottom engraving is: Epiphone (logo) CUSTOM h

KX36
Legs, you seem to have a problem... TOO MUCH MONEY. Everyone has GAS, but most people are poor enough that they can't afford to feed their habit. You seem to get a new guitar every week! Your gear list signature is going to get far too big and to avoid such problems I suggest you send me your oldest guitar every time you buy a new one; it's for your own good. :-
Legs
When I was doing Incredible designs, I had too much money , but I had 7 Best in class motorcycles and about 30 high end electrics. Now I'm a cripple guy with MS and my sole income is Social Security Disability. I've sold most of my treasures, but the Epi's have impressed me. Tis Dot Studio ( Red Lucille) and G 400 ( Red Zappa)are just the begining of my future mayhem!! Legs
