how do i switch pickups

i want to switch my pickups to angus youg signatures how do i do that

I believe it comes with four conducting wiring to suit your needs (at least that's what I think). What do you want out of the pickup in terms of series, parallel, etc.? What guitar are you using.

Are you able to use a soldering iron?

Do you have a new set of strings?

 

And as RM asked, what is the guitar?

Different models have different concerns.

 

If you can solder, it's basically a matter of marking all your wires before melting them loose.

Unscrew your current pickups, don't lose the springs (or get hit in the eyeball) and then go back together with everything.

 

One pickup successful swap will give you the confidence you need for other mods.
