djroge1 Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 It depends on the type of change I need. Generally, I'll start with the vol and tone controls on the guitar. If it's a guitar with switching system - hum/coil cut/series/phase I use that too. If I switch guitars, sometimes it also means adjusting the amp. Less adjusting going from humbucker to humbucker guitar but from hum to single coil needs it usually. However, once the amp is set for a particular guitar then I will leave the vol & tone controls alone. I will however play with combinations of the 3 mini switches - Jazz/Rock, Mid-boost, or the Bright switch. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Josh James Posted October 21, 2010 Share Posted October 21, 2010 I got a strat to do strat stuff and a les paul to summon the god's of rock!!
