ChanMan
We used Buffalo storage devices at a previous employer. They were stout, easy to use and reliable http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822165096 If you're looking for something a bit larger, Newegg also has some 2TB Seagate drives that should perform well. I'd hesitate to recomend anything else on your list, as it's been many years since I played with mixing and recording gear.
mayer_shabetay
I am not an expert, but at home I use Pro Tools 8 with Profire 8 channel interface and it works great!!!! For the drums I use 12 mics, so I use a Lexicon mixer for the toms. The rest go direct to the interface.
surfpup
If your MacBook Pro has Firewire 800 like mine (the 13" ones don't, but the 15" do) I'd make sure the drive had a bus for that and not just USB. Might as well take advantage of that speed. The drive Chan mentioned above looks to have Firewire 800, 400, and USB interfaces.

milod
You've already got a lot more stuff than I do - but all I do is record guitar and vocal mike or stuff off CDs. m
