Alfa Sprint Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hello guys, what kind of polish is the best for your Gibson? Pump polish, Hi gloss polish or other? Thanks
Versatile Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I use a soft dry cloth, preferring not to use polish, as this can affect a nitro finish V
Fudloe Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Gibson polish is recommended. Supposedly, it contains nitro. All I know is that the shop I work in uses it and it doesn't cloud or compromise the finish in any way. I've also heard that Martin polish works too, for the same reason. But I, also, use only a dry microfiber untreated cloth on my own stuff.
joka07 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Anyone tested Lemon Oil (sold as guitar polish)?
BigKahune Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Pump polish for quick clean ups. Virtuoso Cleaner for cleaning - even cleans up forearm haze. Then finish with Virtuoso Polish. Fret Doctor for the fretboard.
Alfa Sprint Posted January 22, 2011 Author Posted January 22, 2011 I used the Gibson Pump polish, the result is very good this polish is not abrasive, the finish is hi-gloss and marks disappear
