BryanFoFyan Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 i have a les paul special 2 that i have already heavily modified but now i am going to remove the tone knob/pot but keep the 3 way switch and both pickups. the tone knob is only connected to the volume knob with the grey wire. can i just cut that wire off and move the ground wire for the bridge onto the volume pot?
