XPAULPITT
i recently bought an lp studio faded and noticed that it is not as thick as my other lps. i measured it compared to my others and it is an 8th of an inch thinner. is this normal for all studios or fadeds, or is it just mine? anyone else have one and notice this? the studio is 1 3/4 thick compared to 1 7/8 on my custom and standard. Geert1976
The Gibson LP Studio-and faded versions are thinner than a LP standard- and custom version. The faded versions also don't have a maple top by the way.
craigh
The maple cap on the studio is a bit thinner at least on the one I had in the 90's. Craig
