icantbuyafender
I know what ya mean. I had a friend that was deployed and came home in a box. Its a huge reality check at how short life is. Being that we were only 22 years old was equally sad as losing him to begin with. Great guitar/bass player. In highschool we had a jam band and I remember how easy it was too collaborate with him. Its a sad part of life, but the important thing is to hold on to the memories. Don't let the memories die as well, and hold on to the good times. Sorry for your loss. sgman
Although I don't know you or your friend, I DO know what it's like to lose a very good friend. A very good mate of mine took his own life back in 1984 and although it's been nearly 27 years, I will never forget him. Therefore, I'm sorry for your loss and I offer you my sincere condolensces. DanvillRob
Once again, I thank you all for your kind wishes. These thoughts are a tribute to the upstanding people on this forum. This is a wonderful place to share, brag, and mourn, along with a fantastic repository of knowledge on Gibson and other guitars.
