His influence on later Delta Bluesmen is nearly incalculable. Nothing like some old blues to get you through the week. A lot of it is pretty rough listening (dating back to 1929), but when I'm in the mood for old Delta blues, there's not much older, and there's not much bluer. I'm looking at a box set of Coltrane and I got a 4 CD set of unreleased and live Hendrix material too. Charlie's an old timer of old timers, it is really roughly recorded, but damn its good.
