Guitar Strings, what do you surgest?

After trying just about every brand available I've found that D'Addarios are the best for holding their tuning and new string brightness longer than most others.Even after doing agressive whammy use and bending on my Strats they keep their tuning.I use 8-38s as I do a lot of Hendrix covers and hence do extreme bends that require super light gauge strings especially since my hands and fingers aren't like hams and sausages.Don't believe what you hear about thin strings having thin tone,Billy Gibbons,Tony Iommi,Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon all used extra and super light strings and neither of them could be accused of having a thin or whimpy tone.After having said that,string gauge is purely subjective so play whatever gauge you feel comfortable with but try the D'Addarios and I doubt that you'll be disappointed.
