Q re Zakk Wylde ZV Buzzsaw

One of the features that I feel has always set Gibson guitars apart, is that they allow the player to control their tone. Most of them ship with one volume & tone control pair per pickup (until recently).

 

I was wondering what drove the controls design on the Buzzsaw to have only one tone control. Can the Custom Shop folks reply in this forum?

That's what I figured. OTOH, it's a really appealing shape for Metal guitarists. After the Limited Edition run in ZW paint, would Gibson consider offering the shape as a regular axe?

hard to say at this point, but my feeling is probably not.
