Giacap Posted June 21, 2011 Share Posted June 21, 2011 La distinzione, se non erro non più in uso, si riferisce al top in acero non figurato (plain) o fiammato (flame) che una volta era fornito come opzione per le les paul che appunto diventavano PLUS con il top fiammato. La dicitura "Plain top" indica le finiture sfumate (desert burst, light burst etc) che fanno trasparire un top venato ma non fiammato, mentre "Plus top" indica le finiture, sempre sfumate, che nascondono parzialmente un top (più o meno) fiammato :) Molto spesso le Plus top comportano un sovrapprezzo. Si, ma non è del tutto esatto; non è vero che è un'esclusiva delle "tinte sfumate" La dicitura Plain può benissimo riferirsi anche a tinte non sfumate, naturalmente a patto che non siano coprenti.
