bonzoboy
Groundbreaking guitar designer and builder Travis Bean passed away from a long battle with cancer in his home on July 10th.Travis was one of the first luthiers to incorporate aluminum in the making of guitars. He used it mostly in the neck and put a thin veneer of wood over most of the neck to give it a warmer more natural feel.RIP Travis and thanks for being such an innovative and visionary luthier. BT Bob
Never saw too many people playing them, but always thought they were interesting guitars. The first one I remember seeing was Stanley Jordan - very innovative guitarist playing equally innovative guitar. Always sad when we lose someone original.
