DAS44
So tonight I went to a free show of a local band called The Brew (who started about 400 yards from here), they were great, talented, and they know how to cater to a crowd. Anyways, to the point. Later on in the show, after a 20 odd minute jam (during which they all swapped instruments a few times) the keyboardist made a quick announcement, they'll be opening for Gregg Allman later on in the month. A "holy sh**" escaped me I have to admit. Just thought it was a great story, however concisely I may have put it.
Jeff-7
That's a neat story, and they sure are lucky to be opening for Gregg, went to a concert of his a couple years ago and it was a great time.

rocketman
That is a great story. Hopefully it's the beginning of something really big for them. I remember seeing the Goo Goo Dolls well before they made it big. They haven't forgotten their roots, which is a good thing.
