Turbojet Posted August 27, 2011 Share Posted August 27, 2011 Often when I play live I get questions about those PUs on my Nighthawk (1996), and how they compare to the reissue. Some people believe that the original OBL pick ups were hotter. I can't really comment, as I haven't tried the reissue yet. Yeah, for a split second I was worried that the stand will fall and take my mini-monitor with it... That's the thing with playing live: you never know what's gonna happen next. Tonewise, I've switched to Octaver preset from G3 for the second part - it adds nice thickness when playing mid and lower range notes. Just trying to keep it fresh.
