charlie brown
Still trying to figure out what kind of guitar he's playing? Anybody? Hofner...President (Archtop acoustic version), as opposed to the electric version, of the same model. http://www.vintagehofner.co.uk/presa.html CB
A add9
Thanks, CB, I just notice the shape of the head stock, tail piece, are different, and fret inlays up to 19th fret on Jimmy's guitar. But everything else looks spot on. Hofner...President (Archtop acoustic version), as opposed to the electric version, of the same model. http://www.vintageho...o.uk/presa.html CB
charlie brown
Yeah, the one in my link,is a '55. His may be newer (or older?)... with slightly different spec's? His has the "Hofner" name, at the top of the headstock, as well...so, Maybe a 1960? Hofner's "spec's" changed, a LOT, over the years...even within the same models.
