Long or Short Shaft Pots for 68 Les Paul Custom Reissue?

I'm thinking about changing the pots in my 68 Les Paul Custom Reissue.

What size are the pots in my particular guitar, long or short shaft?

I believe only the historic reissues need short shaft pots - all other LPs made after 1977 need long shaft.

Well, my two non-historic LPs are long-shaft so I don't think it can be the other way around. I think all he needs to know is whether the 68 is considered a "historic" reissue - I'd be inclined to think that it is. Of course the easy answer is to take it apart and check!
