jefleppard Posted October 19, 2008 Share Posted October 19, 2008 i remember him with a 335 later on in his career - after his re-invention when the his popularity began to rise again in the late 80's. he made appearances on snl and one of his songs, 'in dreams' was featured in a chilling yet funky scene in the david lynch movie 'blue velvet'. it featured dean stockwell lip-singing the song whilst wearing a smoking jacket and holding a mechanic's light like a microphone. it spoke to me. i went right out and bought a gold lame smoking jacket. here it is.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aH8FEZvaiAI here are some of his other gibbies and non gibbies, too. i love this one...why would anyone mic an ovation?
