RaysEpiphone Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 The "E" sticker is starting to peal off of the pick-gaurd on my Texan, it's bugging the heck out of me when I play, any one got any idea's on how I can safely remove it? Best to just carefully peel it off and then clean up the glue residue with a little naptha. Lots of vintage Epiphones lack the "E" because they came off years ago. RIX Posted December 26, 2011 Share Posted December 26, 2011 After thing about it for a while you might try some naptha (lighter fluid. Dab it on with a Q-tip careful not to let any get anywhere but on the sides of the sticker. Let it sit for a little while so that the naptha has a chance to dissolve the adhesive from the sticker and pull up a little at a time.
