Just thought I would post what I've heard as of today (3-15-2012).

I got a call from GC letting me know my AF would arrive in June (2012).

So I don't know if the release date got pushed back or what???

I was patiently awaiting the May release ...oh well.

I'm not sure if others will be released earlier or not.

 

When I first went to GC to pre-order this puppy, they didn't even know anything about it.

But I got them rolling with hints like calling their disribution center and home office to inquire.

It paid off!! I also paid for mine in full up front so if they did find something out, I'd be ready.

I also found out today that GC will have an allottment of 200 units, .....and they are not sold out ...yet.

They are not listed on the website as of today, so you may need to call your local GC Manager.

My GC guy didn't say what number I am, but he did say I will be getting one come June.

Psyched!!!

Be prepared, GC will require that you pay for it in full up front.

If I remember correctly Sweetwater will have an allotment of 100 - 150.

They are already sold out on the pre-orders, but you can get on an after list.

Whereas if the people who ordered fail to pay or answer email and phone calls they start at the top of the after list and work their way down.

I was number 10 on the after list.

They do not require full payment for this pre-order, but they do take your card information.

 

For our Canadian friends...

I saw some on here who were disappointed because it was US only.

I've been in touch with a rep at Long & McQuade, and they will have some too.

I don't know how many their allotted, but I almost ordered through them.

They were going to be my backup if GC couldn't come through.

I believe L & M will require full payment up front ...not to mention shipping and customs if you're having it shipped to the US.
