I have an Epi that will whup the socks off a faded/studio, and it was only 400 bucks...... And older Korean/Japanese Epis are superior to most lower level Gibson's produced today. I played a 60's/70's model J200 (don't remember the exact year) and it sounded as good as any Gibson I've played. $300.
