I'd just bought a G-400 with maestro trem. in Pelham Blue finish and, i want to know how many instr. have been built. If anyone know the answer.... Thanks. Blueman335 Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 Bon Jour. I've heard that there was 500 of the red/chrome masetro SG's made, at least for the American market. Probably about the same for the black/gold ones. I think the alpine white SG Customs w/maestros were an even smaller quantity. bonzoboy Posted January 23, 2012 Share Posted January 23, 2012 Bonjour mon ami,bienvenue.Pelham blue is one of the most rare of the Gibson/Epiphone family colours and although I don't know the true number of Pelham Blue G-400s I can hazard a guess that it's very low.Consequently the value of your guitar should be greater than that of other G-400s.
