The RandyMan
Just got my 1961 Gibson (rescue amp) Maestro GA-1RVT back from the repair guy on Saturday. Cost a little bit of money to get it back to working order, but man, was it worth it! It was rescued from the curb on trash day by my brother some time back and needed a little repair but was in pretty good condition to begin with. It's a little 7 watt tube amp with reverb and tremolo and a Jensen "Special Design" 8-inch speaker. The footswitch for the reverb is a wood-cased switch that fits in a little holster in the back of the amp. This thing is very tone-cool! Crank it up and it sounds really sweet. (Many thanks to the amp guy at Roadhouse Music for the fine repair job!)
