LSAR
I thought that the first time I saw the pics, but it's a Pro, because the Ltd. Ed. had a bound fretboard...
Number29Rick
I purchased an Epiphone Wilshire Pro in Vintage Sunburst used at a local Guitar Center for 200 bucks. The guitar was practically brand new. I have to wait until July 5th to be able to pick it up. I too plan on hot rodding it after a time. A guitar like this begs to upgraded to make it my own. Looking forward to the adventure. Researching the components, planning the upgrade and putting in the mod work are a big part of the fun. Your Wilshire is awesome. Love that pickguard. Aoresteen
I thought that the first time I saw the pics, but it's a Pro, because the Ltd. Ed. had a bound fretboard... Well the photo on the Epi site shows the Ltd without the bound fretboard. http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Doublecut/Epiphone/Ltd-Ed-Wilshire.aspx
Aoresteen
Beautiful Axe! I am real curious about how those Golden Age Stew Mac Alnico p'ups are sounding. If ya read this, would ya please review those p'ups. I have always had good luck with Stew Mac products. Thanx, Rednefceleb. So far so good! At first when I saw them I thought they would have to go and have some SD replacements but these sound very good. They have bite and are quite. I can also get a nice jazz sound out of the neck. I'm keeping them. Well worth paying what Stew MAc wants for them (even thoung they came with the guitar).
LSAR
Well the photo on the Epi site shows the Ltd without the bound fretboard. http://www2.gibson.c...d-Wilshire.aspx Interesting, I was going by the pics from MF. Could've been some variation throughout the run, I suppose...
