jefleppard
http://www.elderly.com/new_instruments/items/CC54IPL.htm built in mp3 player/recorder? i like the colour alot - kind of a soft, metallic baby blue. nice to see one w/o the fall leaf/harvest motif. i played one at GC last week and it sounds like a typical ovi. i just dont get the sound recorder angle. John Lee Walker
Ugh, me thinks that is one oogly guitar. Probably has the specs of an Applause with a built-in Walkman lol Kinda reminds me of one of those beginner guitar kits they sell at WallyWorld. I wonder if it comes with a free plastic strap and a few giant triangular picks. I had an Ovation Glen Campbell shallow-bowl model back in the 80s and I hated that guitar. I was never comfortable with the roundbacks. After a few minutes of sit-down playing, you were playing it in your lap across your knees like a dobro. I ended up giving it to a friend in need. ksdaddy
The only roundback I currently own is from the early run of Moosup Applauses, ebay, twelve bucks with a disintegrated top and no bracing. Mucho surgery later it sounds great and is the "bus guitar". I did bring it inside once the night temps dipped below 30, but with the salad bowl, aluminum and polyurethane neck and plywood top it wouldn't much matter.....
