Cruznolfart
If you've never listened to Jerry Clower, you've missed something very special. From back in the late 60's or so...no guitar content. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AX9QoFhEhI
Guest rogerb
I have worked shows with Jerry Clowers many years ago. We did an outside show in Knoxville one time and we were using my Peavey sound system. When he would do his signature WHEW, KNOCK EM OUT JOHN,I thought he would going to blow my speakers! Very funny man though!
TommyK
The Mouth from the south. I LOVE Jerry Clower. He knows how to shuck right down to the cob. My favorite is the General Store owner who was selling a horse blanket to a fancy cityboy. "Mr. Duvall Scott," I think was the store owner's name. "I saw a stranger and took him in." Daryl M
Mr. Clower was a true gentleman. Most of his stories were not all that funny. But the way he TOLD them made them hilarious.
Cruznolfart
I'm still trying to find "they gave Marcell the beer joint". All he wanted was a orange Nehi.
TommyK
I thought he tore it up with a McCullough Chain Saw.
flem snopes
"Nugene Ledbetter, he would rather climb a tree to tell you a lie than stand flat footed on the ground and tell the truth." Jerry Clower
