ponty
Ever wondered what a new Gibson acoustic sounded like? Now you can with some excellent demos from Wildwood. http://wildwoodguitars.com/video_library.htm?VideoCategoryID=89 The demo guitarist is pretty good...well ok..outstanding. Jerry K
Those are good demos. Interesting mics, too.
ponty
That external clip on mic looks like a K&K.
EuroAussie
I remember there was a thread about this a couple weeks back. Some good demos there, except the guy reviewing them could shut up a bit more and just play em' ..
duluthdan
He's a big guy - all those guitars look like 3/4 size. I keep visiting this site to hear him play the Sheryl signature SJ.
Jerry K
The problem is so many players only graze the strings and don't know how to dig in enough to bring out the sound of the guitar top and body. Koch, the guy in the demo, knows how to bring out the tone. He covers the fretboard thoroughly; so many demos are little more than 1st position. I especially liked the hummingbird demos and I could really recognize the distinctive tone quality of recent Gibson hummingbirds having played a few myself in the last year or two.
