Run
Just for information: Just installed a set of Newtone Heritage PB .012-.051 Low Tension strings on my SWD and here is my appreciation: These strings sound great, more bottom, sustain and less tension than the Elixir 12-53 80/20 (that were also great) ...had to make just a small rod ajustment to reduce buzzing due to the lighter gauge and tension. They are easier to bend and produce a good warm sound. http://www.12fret.com/retail/newtone.htm

EuroAussie
Agree .... give us an updated in 3 weeks if the PB's hold their sparkle or it starts getting muddy. I found on my songwriter it was best to switch to coated 80/20's as they kept their sparkle longer than PB's, which after coule weeks made the tone quite muddy once the edge wore off.
