swenn
Hello All, I recently decided to do a setup on my Epi LP special 2, late. Even without changing my strings (which it needs), I thought I would have a practice following the instructions in a book. The setup has increased the playability and sound quality of my axe heaps. But in the process, I think I damaged the truss rod nut (Allen key type). Are these nuts replaceable and where can I get them from? Any help is appreciated. I think the recess in the truss rod that the hex wrench fits into is integral to the actual truss rod (I may be wrong). I think you may be out of luck trying to find a replacement nut. Maybe I'm wrong.
Gordy01
There's not much you can do to replace the worn allen head. It is integral with the truss rod. But, never fear. There's a tool for almost every problem you can imagine. Here's a link. Worn Truss Rod Tool
